How to add a Shopify tracking page

You can add a tracking page to your Shopify store so customers can track their orders directly from your website using their Bob Go tracking numbers.

Step 1: Add the tracking page to your store menu

  1. Log in to your Shopify Admin.
  2. Go to Content → Menus.
  3. Select the menu where you want the tracking link to appear, for example:
    • Main menu
    • Footer menu

  1. Click Add menu item.
  2. In the Label field, enter Track your order, or another label of your choice.
  3. In the Link field:
    1. Copy your store URL, for example https://yourstore.co.za.
    2. Paste the URL into the link field.
    3. Add /a/track to the end of the URL.
  4. Click Save.
Example: If your store URL is https://yourstore.co.za, your tracking page URL will be https://yourstore.co.za/a/track.

Once set up: Customers can use the tracking page on your store to track their orders using their Bob Go tracking numbers.

Step 2: Customise the tracking page appearance

This step is optional. If you want to change the appearance of the tracking page, you can edit your Shopify theme's CSS.

  1. Go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. Click the three dots (⋯) next to Edit theme.
  3. Select Edit code.
  4. Search for the base.css file.
  5. Add or modify the styles as needed to match your store's design.
  6. Click Save.
