Scaling your shipping

Add more than one parcel to an order when the shipment needs to be split across multiple parcels.

There are two ways to add multiple parcels to an order in Bob Go, depending on whether you want to prepare the fulfillment details in advance or fulfill the order immediately.

In both methods, you can either add parcels one at a time or use the bulk parcel option when working with larger quantities.

Method 1: edit fulfillment details first

Use this method if you want to add parcel information from the order before proceeding with fulfillment.

1. Go to Orders and locate the relevant order.
2. Click the pencil icon next to Fulfillment details.
3. In the Fulfillment information window, scroll to the Parcels section.
4. Choose how you want to add parcels:
   • Select + Add another parcel to add parcels one by one.
   • Select Add bulk parcels if you need to add many parcels at once.
5. If you use Add bulk parcels, choose the Parcel type, enter the Quantity, and click Add parcels.
6. Review and update the parcel information where needed, including dimensions, weight, category and reference number.
7. Click Get rates and select the preferred shipping rate when you are ready to continue.

Method 2: add parcels while fulfilling the order

Use this method when you are ready to fulfill and ship the order immediately.

1. On the order card, click More fulfillment options.
2. The Fulfill and ship window will open with the full collection and delivery details.
3. Scroll to the Parcels section.
4. Add parcels using one of the following options:
   • + Add another parcel to add parcels individually.
   • Add bulk parcels to add multiple parcels at once by selecting the parcel type and quantity.
5. Click Get rates and select the preferred rate to continue with fulfillment.

Scaling tip

If you are working with a large shipment, use Add bulk parcels to save time and ensure each parcel is captured correctly before rates are generated.
