Order creation & fulfillment

Create orders directly in Bob Go when you do not need them to pull through automatically from a connected sales channel.

Manual orders are useful when you need to create an order yourself, whether for an ad hoc shipment, an order received outside your online store or any other shipment that is not imported through a sales channel.

How to create a manual order

1. Select Orders from the left navigation menu.
2. Click Create order.
3. Enter the customer's delivery address or select an existing address from your Address book.
4. Add the relevant order and item details.
5. Choose whether you want to Save the order for later or Save and fulfill it immediately.

Save or save and fulfill?

Select Save if you want to create the order now and return to fulfill it later.

Select Save and fulfill if you are ready to add the parcel details, select a courier service and book the shipment immediately.

How to fulfill the order

If you select Save and fulfill, you will be taken to the order details where you can complete the shipment.

1. Review the order information and confirm that the collection and delivery details are correct.
2. Add the required parcel details, including the package dimensions and weight.
3. Request the available courier rates.
4. Select your preferred courier service and rate.
5. Book the shipment.

Once the shipment has been booked successfully, the order will be fulfilled and the shipment waybill number will be available in Bob Go.

Using order tags

Tags can be added while creating an order to help you organise and group orders based on your own requirements.

For example, you could use tags to identify orders by campaign, priority, warehouse, customer type or any other category that is useful to your business. This makes it easier to find and filter those orders later.
