How to import orders using a CSV or Excel file

Import multiple orders into Bob Go at once instead of creating each order manually.
Bob Go allows you to import orders using a CSV or Excel file. This is useful when you need to create multiple orders quickly without entering each order individually.
How to import orders
- Go to Orders in the left navigation menu.
- Click Import/export Orders.
- Select CSV import from the dropdown menu.
- Upload your file and follow the prompts to complete the import.
Is there an import template?
Yes. You can download a template that shows the correct file structure and format to use when preparing your order import.
How does column mapping work?
After your file has been uploaded, Bob Go will display a mapping tool. This allows you to match the columns in your file to the supported fields in Bob Go.
- Map each column in your file to the relevant Bob Go field.
- Known fields may be mapped automatically.
- Automatically mapped fields can still be changed if needed.
- The upload can only be completed once all fields have been mapped.
What if my file contains errors?
Bob Go will flag errors in the uploaded file and show you the relevant details. All errors must be resolved before the file can be imported successfully.

The following fields are required for an order import:

You can also include the following information in your import:
| Order number | Collection address name |
| Delivery instructions | Buyer shipping charge |
| Item name | Item weight (kg) |

Using the import template and checking your column mapping before completing the upload can help reduce import errors.
