Ship selected items from an order now and leave the remaining items available to fulfill later.

What is partial fulfillment?

Partial fulfillment allows you to ship only some of the items in an order while leaving the remaining items unfulfilled. Those items can then be fulfilled later in one or more additional shipments.

Enable partial order fulfillments

Before you can partially fulfill an order, make sure the setting is enabled on your Bob Go account.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Order Management.
3. Open Orders.
4. Turn on the Allow partial order fulfillment toggle.

How to partially fulfill an order

1. Go to Orders in the left navigation menu.
2. Open the unfulfilled order by selecting the order number or More fulfillment options.
3. Confirm that the collection and delivery addresses are correct.
4. Add the required parcel dimensions and weight.
5. Before generating rates, enable the Partially fulfill order toggle.
6. Review the items in the order and adjust the quantities. Set the quantity to 0 for any items you do not want to include in this shipment.
7. Generate the available courier rates.
8. Select your preferred courier service and rate.
9. Book the shipment to complete the partial fulfillment.

Make sure your parcel details are accurate

Courier rates are calculated using the parcel details you provide. Accurate dimensions and weight help reduce differences between the initial rate and the final confirmed charge.

How do I fulfill the remaining items?

When you are ready to ship the remaining items, return to Orders, open the same order and repeat the fulfillment process for the items that are still outstanding.

Shopify orders with multiple locations

Shopify orders containing items from multiple locations must be partially fulfilled. Each location requires its own fulfillment and a separate waybill because Shopify treats each location as a separate fulfillment.
