Rates at checkout

Connect Bob Go to Shopify so your configured shipping rates can be displayed to customers during checkout.

To display Bob Go shipping Rates at checkout on Shopify, Shopify's Third-Party Carrier-Calculated Shipping Rates feature must first be enabled on your store.

Once this is available, you can connect Bob Go as the carrier app and enable your Shopify channel for Rates at checkout in Bob Go.

1. Enable third-party carrier-calculated shipping rates

Shopify's Third-Party Carrier-Calculated Shipping Rates feature allows an external shipping provider such as Bob Go to return shipping rates during checkout.

This feature is included by default on the Advanced and Plus Shopify plans.

If you are on another Shopify plan, contact Shopify Support and request that Third-Party Carrier-Calculated Shipping Rates be enabled on your account.

2. Add Bob Go as a carrier app in Shopify

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Select Shipping and Delivery.
4. Under General Shipping Rates, select the shipping profile you want to configure.
5. Scroll to Shipping Zones.
6. Select Add rate.
7. Choose Use carrier or app to calculate rates.
8. Select Bob Go from the available apps.
9. Save your changes.

3. Enable Shopify Rates at checkout in Bob Go

1. Log in to your Bob Go account.
2. Select Rates at checkout from the left navigation menu.
3. Select Settings.
4. Under Installed Channels, enable Shopify.
5. Select Save.

Setup complete

Once all three steps have been completed, your configured Bob Go shipping rates can be displayed to customers during checkout on your Shopify store.

Before you start

Make sure Shopify's Third-Party Carrier-Calculated Shipping Rates feature is active before attempting to add Bob Go as a carrier-calculated shipping option.
