Waybill printing

Set up a compatible Zebra printer and Zebra Browser Print to print sticker waybills directly from Bob Go.

Requirements

Zebra printer

Any printer supported by Zebra Browser Print can be used.

Bob Go has tested and recommends the following models:

• ZD230
• ZD421
• ZD220

Sticker size

Waybill stickers are available from Redfern.

Enable Zebra sticker waybills in Bob Go

1. Log in to your Bob Go account.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Open the Shipping settings.
4. Under Waybills, enable sticker label printing.

Windows setup

1. Download Zebra Browser Print

Download the Zebra Browser Print application for Windows.

2. Connect your printer

USB

Connect the Zebra printer to your computer using a USB cable and switch it on. Windows will automatically install the required drivers.

LAN, if supported

Connect the printer to your local network using a network cable. Make sure the network is configured to assign IP addresses automatically using DHCP, or follow your printer manual to configure the IP address manually.

3. Install Zebra Browser Print

Once downloaded, open the applicable folder, run Browser Print and follow the installation prompts.

4. Set the default printer

1. Open Zebra Browser Print.
2. Select Change.
3. Choose your printer from the dropdown menu.
4. Select Set to save it as your printer.

Keep the printer connected to your computer during this process.

5. Print your first Zebra sticker waybill

Log in to Bob Go, go to Shipments and print a Zebra sticker waybill.

When prompted to allow bobgo.co.za access to the Zebra printer, select Yes to complete the configuration and print the label.

macOS setup

1. Download Zebra Browser Print

Complete the required Zebra form and download Browser Print for macOS.

2. Connect your printer

USB

Connect the Zebra printer to your Mac using a USB cable and switch it on. macOS will automatically install the required drivers.

LAN, if supported

Connect the printer to your local network using a network cable. Make sure DHCP is available, or follow your printer manual to configure the printer's IP address manually.

3. Install and open Browser Print

1. Open the downloaded Browser Print installer.
2. Drag the Browser Print icon into your Applications folder.
3. From Applications, right-click Browser Print and select Open.

4. Accept the licence agreement

When prompted, accept the Browser Print End User License Agreement.

5. Set the default printer

1. Open Zebra Browser Print.
2. Select Change.
3. Choose your printer from the dropdown menu.
4. Select Set.

Keep the printer connected to your Mac while completing this step.

6. Print your first waybill

Log in to Bob Go, go to Shipments and print a Zebra sticker waybill.

Check the label alignment

After printing your first label, check that all information is visible and that nothing is cut off along the edges.

If the label is not aligned correctly, the printer may need to be recalibrated.

Recalibrating the printer

Calibration steps differ by Zebra model. The following instructions apply to the models listed below.

ZD220 and ZD230

Press and hold the Feed button until the status light blinks off and on twice, then release it. The printer will feed blank labels until the calibration process is complete.

GK420d

Hold down the green Feed button. The light will first flash once and then double flash. Release the button after the double flash and the printer will begin feeding labels forward slowly.

Smart shipping suggestion

When attaching the sticker waybill to the parcel, use the entire label rather than only the inside peel. The inside peel is signed and used as proof of delivery by some courier partners.
