What is a packing slip?
Packing slips support the picking and packing process by providing the information needed to make sure the correct items are packed for the correct customer.
How to download a packing slip
- Open the relevant order.
- Click the Settings gear icon.
- Select Download packing slip.
What information appears on a packing slip?
- Order number
- Delivery address
- Item name and description
- Item SKU
- Vendor
- Item weight
- Quantity and fulfilled quantity
- Courier provider
Faster fulfillment with barcode scanning
Bob Go packing slips include a barcode in the top right corner. This can be used with the auto-fulfill on barcode scan feature to help speed up fulfillment and reduce manual errors.
Picking slips
What is a picking slip?
A picking slip is used internally in a warehouse or fulfillment environment to help staff identify and collect the correct items from the shelves.
It lists the items required for an order and is intended to help prepare orders for packing.
Picking Slip plan availability
The Picking Slip feature is available on the Advanced and Premium plans.
How to download a picking slip
- Open the relevant order.
- Click the Settings gear icon in the top right corner.
- Select Download Picking Slip.
Processing multiple orders?
Packing slips and picking slips can also be downloaded in bulk for multiple selected orders using Bulk actions.
