How to use Bob Go Rates at Checkout on WooCommerce

To return Bob Go shipping rates at checkout on your WooCommerce store, ensure the official Bob Go plugin is installed and activated. Then enable the feature on both the WooCommerce side and in your Bob Go account.

Note: The plugin connects your store to Bob Go via the REST API and pulls real-time rates when enabled. Your store must also be properly connected as a sales channel in Bob Go.

Step 1: Install and Activate the Bob Go Plugin in WooCommerce

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.

  2. Go to Plugins > Add New.

  3. Search for "Bob Go smart shipping solution for WooCommerce" (or use the direct link: https://wordpress.org/plugins/uafrica-shipping/).

  4. Click Install Now, then Activate the plugin.


Step 2: Enable Bob Go Rates at Checkout in WooCommerce

  1. Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping.

  2. Look for the Bob Go rates at checkout.

  3. Click to access its settings.

  4. Check the Enable box to turn on rates at checkout.

  5. Save changes.


Step 3: Enable Rates at Checkout in Your Bob Go Account

  1. Log in to your Bob Go dashboard.

  2. In the left navigation panel, go to Rates at checkout.

  3. Select Settings from the sub-menu.

  4. Locate your WooCommerce channel.

  5. Check the box next to it to enable rates at checkout for this channel.

  6. Save.


Once completed, Bob Go shipping rates will appear during checkout for customers. Ensure your products have accurate weights and dimensions set in WooCommerce, as these are sent to Bob Go to calculate accurate rates.
