Service level codes and times

The delivery timeframe does not include the collection day. While collection times may occasionally be missed due to operational reasons, our courier’s service level commitments are based on the delivery timeframe.
Parcels booked under Express service levels (Overnight, Express, or Next-Day) destined for regional areas may experience a delivery extension, resulting in a total delivery time of 2 to 3 business days, provided the area is serviced daily.


Courier door-to-door
Please note that all truck collections must be booked the day before collection by sending an email to bobgo@thecourierguy.co.za. Please CC support@bobgo.co.za
The Courier Guy does not offer same-day services if a truck is required.

Economy Road (ECO):
  1. Delivery to take place within 3 – 4 business days. Collection must be requested before 15:00

Economy Road Regional (ECOR):
  1. Delivery to take place between 4 – 5 business days. Collection must be requested before 15:00.

Local Overnight (LOX):
  1. From main centre to local areas.
  2. Parcel must be below 30kg and 50x50x50cm in size.
  3. Delivery to take place within 1 – 2 business days. Collection must be requested before 15:00

Local Overnight Flyer (LOF):
  1. From main centre to local areas.
  2. This service level must be shipped in a flyer bag. 
  3. Delivery to take place between 1 – 2 business days. Collection must be requested before 15:00.
 
Local Same-day Economy (LSE):
  1. From main centre to local areas.
  2. The parcel must be below 30kg and 50x50x50cm in size.
  3. Delivery to take place on the same business day. Collection must be requested before 10:30.
 
Local Same-day Flyer (LSF):
  1. From main centre to local areas.
  2. This service level must be shipped in a flyer bag. 
  3. Delivery to take place on the same business day. Collection must be requested before 10:30.
 
Overnight (OVN):
  1. Delivery to take place between 1 – 2 business days. Collection must be requested before 15:00. 

Overnight Regional (OVNR):
  1. Delivery to take place between 2 – 3 business days. Collection must be requested before 15:00.


Economy (ES):
  1. Delivery to take place between 3 – 5 business days. Collection must be requested before 14:00.

Next-day (ND):
  1. Delivery to take place within  1 – 2 business days. Collection must be requested before 12:00.


INTERNET EXPRESS
Economy (ECO):
  1. Delivery to take place between 3 – 5 business days. Collection request must be placed before 14:00.

Express (EDS):
  1. Delivery to take place between 1 – 2 business days. Collection request must be placed before 14:00.

Local Express (LX):
  1. Delivery to take place within 1 business day. Collection request must be placed before 14:00.


SKYNET
Economy (DBC):
  1. Delivery to take place between 3 – 5 business days. Collection request must be placed before 13:00.

Express (ON1):
  1. From main centre to main centre and/or local areas. 
  2. Delivery to take place within 2 – 3 business days. Collection must be requested before 13:00.
  3. Contact us for guaranteed ONX to Regional/Township areas – additional charges may apply*
 
Same-day (SDX):
  1. From main centre to local areas.
  2. Delivery to take place on the same business day. Collection must be requested before 09:00.

Economy Flyer (ECOF):
  1. Delivery to take place within  3 – 4 business days. Collection must be requested before 14:00.
  2. This service level must be shipped in a flyer bag. 
Economy Parcel (ECOP):
  1. Delivery to take place within  3 – 4 business days. Collection must be requested before 14:00.

Regional Economy Flyer (REF):
  1. Delivery to take place within  4 – 5 business days. Collection must be requested before 14:00.
  2. This service level must be shipped in a flyer bag. 
Regional Economy Parcel (REP):
  1. Delivery to take place within  4 – 5 business days. Collection must be requested before 14:00.

Also, please keep in mind that no backdoor deliveries are allowed with Fastway, according to their delivery policy.

Pickup points

Collection cut-off time:
Collection must be requested before 14:00. All shipments booked after 14:00, will be collected the following business day.

Delivery timelines:
  1. Local – Deliveries to the chosen locker or counter take up to 2 working days.
  2. Main Center – Deliveries to the chosen locker or counter take up to 2-3 working days.

Collection from counter:
Receivers have an 72 hour window from the day of delivery to collect their packages from the chosen locker or counter. 


PARGO
Collection cut-off time:
Collection must be requested before 12:00. All shipments booked after 12:00, will be collected the following business day.

Delivery timelines:
  1. Local / Main Center: Deliveries to the chosen counter take up to 3 working days.
  2. Regional: Deliveries to the chosen counter take up to 5 working days.
 
Collection from counter:
Receivers have an 8-day window from the day of delivery to collect their packages from the chosen counter. During this time, receivers will receive three reminder notifications.

Stationery deliveries:
Merchants can expect stationery deliveries to take up to three working days.



On-demand

Same-day (SD):
  1. Delivery to take place on the same business day.
  2. From the main centre to 60 km from the collection location.
  3. The parcel must be below 30kg and 60x40x70cm in size. 
Warning
Collection must be requested before 09:30. All shipments booked after 09:30, will be collected and delivered the following business day.
