Learn what address geocoding means, how to check whether an address is verified, and what to do when an address is unverified.
Address geocoding converts a written location, such as a street address, place name or postal code, into precise map coordinates using latitude and longitude.
Addresses in Bob Go display a verification status:
Verified
The address coordinates have been confirmed.
Unverified
The order can still be fulfilled, but updating the address is recommended to help avoid possible misdeliveries.
If an order's shipping address displays the yellow Unverified status:
Addresses are re-geocoded every 30 days
Bob Go re-geocodes addresses every 30 days to stay aligned with Google's coordinate updates. If a previously verified address later shows as unverified, update the address using Google Autocomplete and save it again.
