
Once a sale is made, Takealot issues a Purchase Order (PO) with a due date
Log in to the Takealot Seller Portal
Allocate the PO to your selected courier
Create and fulfil your order using your preferred courier
Ensure the following is clearly included in the delivery special instructions:
PO number
Due date
Vendor number
All Takealot shipments must be booked on ECO
Bookings on OVN or LSE will not apply or help expedite the delivery/collection.
Email Bob Go support and the courier before 14:45
This ensures the shipment is prioritised and processed correctly

Shipping note (inside and outside the parcel)
PO confirmation
Correct labeling on the parcel

These couriers do not support Takealot systems and will result in delays, failed deliveries and shipments being returned and charged.
Example: “17 NOV” indicates the earliest collection date. No collection will occur before this date.
Delivery dates and times are fixed and cannot be changed or brought forward. The couriers have no intervention with regards to the booking date; they submit the PO for booking, and then Takealot generates a booking date back to them.
Not always. Takealot shipments do not follow standard tracking events.
PODs take 24–48 hours to reflect due to internal Takealot processing.

If the PO number is missing from the waybill:
Takealot may accept the parcel
But no POD will be issued
POD cannot be requested afterwards
Always use the merchant’s contact details for the delivery address. This ensures the courier can reach the correct person if needed.
Always book on ECO
Include the PO number everywhere (label, documents, instructions)
Use TCG wherever possible
Ensure parcels arrive at the depot before the cutoff times
