Understand what to do when a customer is unable to print the Bob Go waybill for a return collection.
Printing the waybill remains the standard process
Where possible, the customer should print the Bob Go waybill and attach it securely to the parcel before the courier arrives for collection.
Paperless or alternative collection processes can differ between couriers.
Before the parcel is collected, contact Bob Go Support to confirm whether the selected courier can accommodate a collection without a printed waybill and what information must be placed on the parcel.
The Courier Guy supports a paperless return process when the customer is unable to print the Bob Go waybill.
The sender should clearly write the following information directly on the parcel:
The Courier Guy driver will attach a TCG tracking sticker to the parcel and link the collection request number and the Bob Go waybill number written on the parcel to the tracking sticker on their device.
Keep proof of collection
When a parcel is collected without a printed waybill, we strongly recommend keeping proof that the parcel was handed to the courier. For The Courier Guy, the sender can take a photograph of the driver with the parcel and the UA number clearly visible.
Proof of delivery requirements may differ depending on the courier and service.
For The Courier Guy, the receiver may be asked to enter the OTP PIN provided via tracking SMS, sign a paper waybill, provide verbal confirmation or be photographed with the shipment.
Do not replace the Bob Go tracking reference
The Courier Guy driver should not use a manual waybill for this process, as this can override the existing Bob Go tracking number. For other couriers, confirm the correct alternative process with Bob Go Support before collection.
