Follow the printer installation guide below to set up your Zebra printer.

Setup and installation

Windows

Download application
Download the Zebra Browser Print application for your Windows operating system:

Connection options
USB: Connect the Zebra label printer to your PC/Mac using a USB cable and power it on. Windows will automatically install the required drivers. No additional driver installation is required.

LAN (if supported): Connect the Zebra label printer to your local network (LAN) using a network cable and power it on. Make sure your network is configured to automatically assign IP addresses (DHCP) or refer to your printer manual for instructions on how to manually configure your printer’s IP address.

Install and run
Once the Zebra Browser Print is downloaded, navigate to the applicable folder and open Browser Print. Click to Run and finish the installation by following the prompts.

Set default device/printer
Open Zebra Browser Print, navigate to "Change" and selected the printer from the drop down menu. Click on "Set" to save. Please ensure your printer stays connected to your computer during this process.

Finalising installation
Once the device/printer has been set, log in to your Bob Go account, navigate to shipments and print a Zebra sticker waybill.

You will be asked to allow “https://www.bobgo.co.za” access to the Zebra printer. Click “Yes” to complete the configuration and print your shipping label.

Print label
After printing your first shipping label, you need to make sure that the alignment of the sticker is correct – in other words, that all the information is visible on the sticker and that nothing is cut off on the sides. If this is not the case, then it will require you to recalibrate the label printer.

Recalibrating the printer
Each model has different steps to perform a quick calibration. In order to confirm the exact steps to calibrate your specific Zebra Printer, search for your model number on Google.

ZD220 and ZD230: Press and hold the "Feed" button until the status light blinks off and on twice, then release. The printer will then print out blank waybills until the calibration process is finished.

GK420d: Hold the green "Feed" button down. First the light on the button will flash once, then it will do a double flash. Let go of the button after the double flash and the printer will start to feed labels forward slowly.

Should you have any issues calibrating, feel free to reach out to our support at support@bobgo.co.za or 012 940 1060 with the model name and they will be sure to provide you with the right steps.

Smart shipping suggestion: When applying the sticker label to the parcel, use the entire label and not just the inside peel. This inside peel is signed and used as proof of delivery by some of our courier partners.
